Frequently Asked Questions

01

What is Colon Hydrotherapy?

Colon hydrotherapy is an ancient form of cleansing the colon with water.  When performed by trained personnel it is a safe sanitary, and effective method of removing waste from the large intestine (colon) without the use of drugs or laxatives. By introducing filtered and temperature-regulated water into the colon, waste is softened and loosened, resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis (muscle contraction). This process is repeated many times during a therapy session. Today’s sophisticated technology promotes both the safety and sanitation of this popular cleansing practice.

02

Will there be other people in the room?

No, this is done in a professional, private therapy room, your therapist is only in the therapy room at the beginning of your session to provide instructions. You remain beneath a sheet throughout the session to help maintain your dignity.

How long does the process take?

You should allow for an hour for your visits, 15 minutes for completing history and consent forms and 45 minutes for the colonic session. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session for health history updates, restroom visits, etc.

04

How will I feel after?

You will be able to carry on with your daily activities as normal. Clients can feel like they have a high level of energy after their session, feel completely relaxed as if they have had a massage, or some clients may feel tired after their session. It is recommended you listen to your body following your treatment.
